This internal refurbishment was delivered at short notice for an emerging technology start up hosted by RMIT University. It is characterised by a central row of ‘warehouse’ spaces - informal meeting spaces separated by large sliding panels, staff amenities and break out, and a modest theatre/presentation space. Other smaller nooks ‘hinge’ off this central core. The entry doubles as both a presentation space and a waiting area. The language of the design celebrates the energy of the startup through liberal use of natural materials and the exposing of building structure.
