This Skills and Job Centre is part of a state government initiative to provide expert advice on training and employment opportunities through a series of venues at dual sector Universities and TAFEs across Australia. Celebrating the symbiotic and ‘pop up’ nature of the program, the fit out consolidates a series of rooms and re-configures the entry lobby to RMIT’s Sydney Manefield Building to balance its public-facing prerogative with the character the existing space to create a fun, functional and attractive corner for staff and students alike.
